MarsMu Server Rules & Guidelines

By creating an account, downloading our client, and logging into MarsMU, you automatically agree to abide by all the regulations stated below. Ignorance of the rules will not be accepted as an excuse. Administration reserves the exclusive right to adjust penalties based on the severity of the violation.

1. Cheating & Third-Party Software

1.1 Unauthorized Tools: The use of speedhacks, auto-combo macro scripts (hardware or software), packet injectors, cheat engines, memory editing tools, or modified game client files is strictly prohibited.

1.2 Anti-Cheat Bypass: Any attempt to bypass, disable, or tamper with the servers anti-cheat protection or hardware identification systems will be flagged automatically.

2. Bug Exploitation & Item Duplication (Duping)

2.1 Exploit Abuse: Deliberately abusing game engine flaws, visual glitches, map collision bugs, skill animation cancels, or quest loopholes for unfair progression or stat gain is forbidden.

2.2 Bug Reporting & Concealment: Any player discovering a bug or duping method is obligated to report it immediately to the staff via Discord Ticket. Concealing or sharing exploits with others is treated as active malice.

3. Real Money Trading (RMT) & Black Market

3.1 Unauthorized Transactions: Buying, selling, or offering in-game goods, characters, accounts, or WCoins for real-world fiat currency (EUR, USD, etc.) or cryptocurrency outside the official server Web Shop is strictly forbidden.

3.2 Cross-Server Trading: Exchanging MarsMU items or assets for goods or currency on other private servers is completely prohibited.

4. Multi-Client & Hardware Limits

4.1 Box Limit Compliance: Players must strictly respect the allowed client limit per PC/Hardware (HWID). Using virtual machines (VMWare, VirtualBox, Sandboxie), VPS, or proxy spoofing to bypass client limits is forbidden.

4.2 Event Multi-Boxing: Registering multiple characters under the same player in competitive events (such as Chaos Castle or Blood Castle) to rig rewards is prohibited.

5. AFK Farming, Spots & Offleveling

5.1 Spot Etiquette & Kill Steal (KS): KS and Player Killing (PK) are inherent PvP mechanics of MU Online on non-safe zones unless specifically regulated in designated non-PvP subservers.

5.2 Autoclicker Abuse in Safezones: Using continuous spam scripts or clickers in safe zones (Lorencia, Noria, Devias) to intentionally create FPS drop or server packet lag is restricted.

6. Events & Castle Siege Regulations

6.1 Event Sabotage: Intentionally blocking bridge choke points or portal gates using bugged positions, desync tricks, or alt-character walls is prohibited.

6.2 Castle Siege Collusion: Fake guild sign-ups to block real attackers from participating, intentional throne seal griefing, or exploiting switch collision models will result in siege disqualification.

7. Scamming, Fraud & Impersonation

7.1 Trade Scamming: Swapping items or amounts at the last second in Trade windows, misrepresenting item levels/options, or lending items with intent to steal is prohibited. Always verify items before confirming trades.

7.2 Staff & Guild Impersonation: Creating character or guild names mimicking Administrators (e.g. `Admin`, `GM`, `Support`) or famous guild masters to deceive other players is strictly forbidden.

8. Chat Etiquette & Advertising

8.1 Toxicity & Hate Speech: Severe insults, discrimination based on race, nationality, or religion, real-life threats, or family harassment in public channels (/post, /global) will not be tolerated.

8.2 External Advertising: Promoting other MU Online servers, private gaming projects, or untrusted external download links anywhere in-game or on our Discord is strictly forbidden.

9. Account Security & Shared Access

9.1 User Responsibility: Every user is entirely responsible for safeguarding their login credentials and registered email address. Use complex, unique passwords not shared with other servers.

9.2 Account Sharing: Sharing accounts with guild members, friends, or family is done at your own risk. Lost, stolen, or deleted items resulting from shared access will NOT be restored by the administration.

10. Donations, Purchases & Chargeback Policy

10.1 Voluntary Contributions: All payments made through the official Web Shop are voluntary donations dedicated to supporting server hosting, anti-cheat licensing, and ongoing development.

10.2 Chargeback & Refund Fraud: Any unauthorized refund, payment dispute, or fraudulent chargeback through PayPal, Stripe, or crypto gateways will lead to automatic hardware banning of all related accounts and associated payment profiles.
